In July I was contacted by a writer for ‘La Dépêche’ who was compiling an article listing art courses and workshops available across the region.  A few phone calls later and we found ourselves chatting by the Canal du Midi not far from Quarante.  Specifically, she had selected one artist for each departement within Occitanie, so I felt thrilled and very flattered to be included.  I explained a little more about the workshop programme but also my role as an Urban Sketchers volunteer.  It was an extremely windy day but she took a few photos and you can see the final article here:
