Have spent the last 3 days painting with Annette Morris. What a great time and teacher. Learn so much each time I paint with her. With her guidance anyone can draw and paint.

Thank you for a great class today, despite the weather! We are looking forward to practicing our sketching.

Annette is an amazing teacher – very inspiring and encouraging. Really enjoyed her France Workshop Weekend and learnt a lot.

Today we drove 2hrs to Capestang for a lesson with Annette Morris. Sketching and watercolor is not my forte but life forces change.

So I sat on a camping chair in the old cobbled street in Capestang and sketched one of the oldest buildings in the area. Annette next to me guiding me, as I pushed through my block of sketching . And I loved every minute .

Thanks so much for yesterday, it was very enlightening, and fun.
The tips are great and I’ll refer to them as I hopefully continue my sketching. I look forward to doing another session with you.

The instructor did an excellent job explaining her process and my initial drawing proportions were better than usual for me. I will try her techniques on other drawings.

I enjoyed it very much. I am familiar with Annette’s teaching style and so I was able to sketch along, but I think that would be possible if not familiar. The follow-up video allows another attempt at the learner’s pace and also further practice.

Many, many thanks for a most delightful morning which, even in the freezing grey-sky day, was positive, fun, and very rewarding. You are, indeed, a wonderful and remarkable teacher!!!

Thank you Annette for such a fascinating and mindful morning in Narbonne, I feel I now understand so much more. I really enjoyed the joyful yet studious atmosphere you generated.

This was a great workshop by one of my favourite watercolour artists. The pace was fast (although I do appreciate the time restraints) and I was able to follow along for most of it and then complete any finishing touches afterwards. The PDF was a welcome addition as a step by step guide too.

The most patient, encouraging and talented teacher there is. A micro grain of creativity will be rooted out by Annette and hey presto…. a new world of art and fun.

I just thought I would write to tell you how much I enjoyed that wonderful few days with Ian in Montpellier. I need hardly tell you that I have been on many art courses and holidays, and I have no hesitation in saying that that was clearly one of the most enjoyable.  Let me pay particular tribute to the way in which you quietly and discreetly organised everything. I don’t remember any single thing going wrong. You may well be a born artist: you’re certainly a born manager.

Fantastic day Annette. I feel inspired to sketch at will again.

I would go anywhere in the world with Annette’s sketch group! Such a magical and unique experience getting to explore a city through the lens of sketching with people from all over the world. From logistics to art instruction, Annette does a wonderful job leading the workshop. I learned so many new things and I will undoubtedly sketch and see the world in a new way after this trip. I had a wonderful week sketching with Annette last year. As a newcomer to sketching she gave me huge confidence and invaluable help and encouragement when needed. I know the others would agree with me. I have become a very active sketcher thanks to Annette and have wonderful memories of long lunches, lots of laughs and of exploring her corner of France.

Overwhelmed with the skills I learned and the results I achieved as a novice artist. Highly recommended.
