Great sketching workshop in Capestang – learned some interesting techniques for future projects. Thank you, Annette! 😃

I spent a wonderful day in Montpellier at one of Annette’s beginner workshops. I’m amazed at how much I learned in just a few hours. Annette is a great teacher and really made me feel comfortable – I have gone from thinking “I just can’t draw”, to “I CAN, and it’s fun!”. Annette gave so many useful little tips along the way, which made all the difference to my feeling capable and wanting to continue sketching. Added bonus: I now have a lovely souvenir of the beautiful Montpellier architecture!

Annette is a terrific teacher and talented artist. HIghly recommend taking a class with her!!!!!!

Thanks so much for yesterday, it was very enlightening, and fun.
The tips are great and I’ll refer to them as I hopefully continue my sketching. I look forward to doing another session with you.

Enjoyed a great 4 day sketching holiday with Annette in Quarante, France. Excellent tuition with useful exercises and tips. I think I became a little more colourful!! Annette is very organised, inspirational and enthusiastic. The bed and breakfast accommodation with Annika was “palatial” but so relaxed and comfortable that it was like staying with an old friend. I would recommend this holiday to all sketchers. Kaye

The instructor did an excellent job explaining her process and my initial drawing proportions were better than usual for me. I will try her techniques on other drawings.

I recently took part in a Sketching morning with Annette and 3 other ladies. I am a beginner which didn’t matter amongst the more experienced. Advice and tips were given throughout the session which was very relaxing and fun. I’d recommend this to everyone. thank you Annette I’ll see you in Puisserguier.

I would go anywhere in the world with Annette’s sketch group! Such a magical and unique experience getting to explore a city through the lens of sketching with people from all over the world. From logistics to art instruction, Annette does a wonderful job leading the workshop. I learned so many new things and I will undoubtedly sketch and see the world in a new way after this trip. I had the pleasure of attending Annette’s workshop at Montouliers in September. It was a great spot for a workshop and Annette was such a generous and inspiring teacher. I learnt lots of new things and quick tips and tricks from her to use in my sketches. I wish I lived closer so I could go to more of her classes!

Thank you Annette for such a fascinating and mindful morning in Narbonne, I feel I now understand so much more. I really enjoyed the joyful yet studious atmosphere you generated.

I had a great week learning to sketch with Annette. As an absolute beginner I was a little uncertain and lacking confidence but Annette was super helpful and as the week went on I started to produce some art that I was actually quite proud of. The other students were great company and the whole week was thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

You don’t have to be an artist or any good at drawing to have a fabulous time with Annette. First time sketching and the time flew past. And our sketches actually look like something!!! Great time and learned so much.

I enjoyed it very much. I am familiar with Annette’s teaching style and so I was able to sketch along, but I think that would be possible if not familiar. The follow-up video allows another attempt at the learner’s pace and also further practice.

The most patient, encouraging and talented teacher there is. A micro grain of creativity will be rooted out by Annette and hey presto…. a new world of art and fun.

Today we drove 2hrs to Capestang for a lesson with Annette Morris. Sketching and watercolor is not my forte but life forces change.

So I sat on a camping chair in the old cobbled street in Capestang and sketched one of the oldest buildings in the area. Annette next to me guiding me, as I pushed through my block of sketching . And I loved every minute .
