Urban Sketchers

Urban Sketchers Languedoc is the official chapter of an international nonprofit dedicated to fostering a global community of artists who practice on-location drawing. Regular free events are organised every month and open to all.

It’s a wrap! After the fifth and final workshop with Ian we gathered at a local bistro for a moment of celebration! Everyone shared a favourite sketch and moment from a rich, inspiring and motivational week ⭐️ Thank you to a great group of people who helped make this such a fantastic workshop experience in Sète, and special thanks to @ianfennelly for inspiring us all with your artistic skill, generosity and kindness. The jokes weren’t bad either ! 🤣

Workshop #3 with @ianfennelly hosted by @annettemorris.art in the heart of the Venice of Languedoc - Sète 🤩. The morning weather was not quite so kind - but that gave us time to grab a coffee, a jacket, and focus on more of the details that made this place so special ! By the time the sun returned in the afternoon, everyone had followed Ian’s guidance and fantastically captured the uniqueness of the view - a mermaid, octopus and seahorse too ! 😍
