This was a great workshop by one of my favourite watercolour artists. The pace was fast (although I do appreciate the time restraints) and I was able to follow along for most of it and then complete any finishing touches afterwards. The PDF was a welcome addition as a step by step guide too.

I commissioned Annette to paint portraits of my two dogs as a present for my husband – I was honestly overwhelmed at how she captured their personalities – totally over the moon and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her art and talent !

Annette is a wonderful artist and teacher! I am a beginner watercolorist, although I do have some experience with the medium. Annette explains and demonstrates things very well. Added to a lovely, upbeat personality, her demos and workshops are great! What I have enjoyed the most is her selection of locations in France as references. I love traveling around the Mediterranean, particularly Italy, and want to learn to capture my travels (in person and my photos) in a watercolor sketchbook. I will be doing her master class in this series next!

Enjoyed a great 4 day sketching holiday with Annette in Quarante, France. Excellent tuition with useful exercises and tips. I think I became a little more colourful!! Annette is very organised, inspirational and enthusiastic. The bed and breakfast accommodation with Annika was “palatial” but so relaxed and comfortable that it was like staying with an old friend. I had the pleasure of attending Annette’s workshop at Montouliers in September. It was a great spot for a workshop and Annette was such a generous and inspiring teacher. I learnt lots of new things and quick tips and tricks from her to use in my sketches. I wish I lived closer so I could go to more of her classes!
