Today we drove 2hrs to Capestang for a lesson with Annette Morris. Sketching and watercolor is not my forte but life forces change.

So I sat on a camping chair in the old cobbled street in Capestang and sketched one of the oldest buildings in the area. Annette next to me guiding me, as I pushed through my block of sketching . And I loved every minute .

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience on the sketching weekend in Paris with Annette Morris. Annette led a well thought out and interesting course. I had not sketched in a long time and was a relative beginner, but I grew and was challenged in a good way during this weekend. The group size was perfect and Annette helped create a cohesive group spirit and a supportive atmosphere. This sketching weekend was a marvelous way to see a city with fresh eyes! Meeting lovely people with the same interests in art was an added bonus.

I would go anywhere in the world with Annette’s sketch group! Such a magical and unique experience getting to explore a city through the lens of sketching with people from all over the world. From logistics to art instruction, Annette does a wonderful job leading the workshop. I learned so many new things and I will undoubtedly sketch and see the world in a new way after this trip.
