Food sketching is one of the most fun, and it’s increasingly popular because of its illustrative style (and let’s face it, we all appreciate good food)!
French food is world famous – in fact Since 2010, the French gastronomic meal and its rituals have been inscribed in UNESCO’s cultural heritage.
This online workshop invites you to sketch and discover some traditional recipes from this part of southern France.
Through the techniques in these videos you’ll learn more about sketching with watercolour, plus pick up a few nuggets (no pun intended!) about food from this region (and others) of France.
There are 4 sketches on the menu, from l’aperitif through to a café gourmand – I hope that you can join me ‘for lunch’!
