Treat yourself to a memorable day out and develop your sketching skills at the stunning Chateau les Carrasses.

You don’t need previous art experience to join this workshop – just an interest in travel sketching and a willingness to learn.  We’ll look at page planning, how to get started with tricky compositions and the essentials of working with ink and watercolour on location.

Workshop starts 10am with a quick warm up sketch over coffee before exploring the Chateau grounds in more detail. We’ll pause for lunch before finishing our sketches in the afternoon.

You will need a sketchbook with paper 160gsm or higher – which can be purchased on the day if you do not have your own.

We will also use a black waterproof ink pen, HB pencil, basic watercolour kit, brush and water pot.
A sketch kit can be provided on loan if you do not have your own.
