Today I received my painting, I am absolutely delighted with it, you are so talented, I will treasure it. Thank you so much.😁

Margaret H - December 2021

Annette, thank you once again. I’m absolutely delighted with your picture and I’m sure my husband will be too.

Candy R. - December 2022

I commissioned Annette to paint portraits of my two dogs as a present for my husband – I was honestly overwhelmed at how she captured their personalities – totally over the moon and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her art and talent !

Maxine B. - January 2020

Just to say many thanks for my sketch my husband was very pleased.

Sonja H. - August 2024

We bought one of your prints in September and I wanted to let you know we just got it back from the framers – and it looks wonderful.

Joni S. - October 2025

A huge thank you for your painting! It looks amazing. We now have plenty of places to hang it, so it’s a great gift!!

Paul M.

Stunning!!!!  The picture arrived safely and is lovely !. Thanks ever so much, Iain

Iain K.

We are delighted with the result You have perfectly captured the scenes both in colour and atmosphere in the way that we were looking for.

Martin O. - February 2023

I commissioned Annette to make a watercolour painting of our house in Cruzy as a surprise birthday present for my husband. She delivered and more! It’s a beautiful painting and catches the feel of the house perfectly – Thank you SO much Annette! You can post a picture of it if you like and for those who would like to rent it for a week or two can visit us on www.villainlanguedoc.com or fb page Villa in Languedoc

Kicki S. - February 2020

Having admired Annette’s work for sometime, I approached her to commission a special present for my husband recently. I had a specific scene in mind and WOW!!!! We honestly could not be happier with the finished painting – Annette brought the scene to life and it will become part of our home, a truly original gift to be cherised. Thank you from us both, you are wonderfully talented

Elegy D. - February 2021

The picture arrived on Saturday. It looks great. I am sure my husband
Will be delighted with it. Thanks for providing a speedy and efficient delivery.

Wendy F. - December 2022

I asked Annette to paint a picture of my furry friend, Miette. The process was very simple. I sent her a few photos, but she also wanted to know a bit about my cat to get a feel for her, which came across in the painting. What she produced was truly delightful, and I have enjoyed showing it to friends.

Sue A. - October 2020

My husband and I had already bought four of Annette’s sketches before we attended an exhibition of hers in last January. We were completely blown away by all her work and bought two more. If we had more wall space available we would have loved to buy more and had real trouble deciding which two would make the cut! They bring us a great deal of pleasure and we are so glad that we were able to pick them up before the current lockdown.

Nicola F. - March 2020

This morning I’ve been hanging paintings for a small exhibition in Quarante, my adopted hone town. ❤️ I’ve called this collection of work Rayonnante ✨ - celebrating natural beauty and a touch of that shining light that makes watercolours shine and glow. 🌟 This is my first ever exhibition in a hair salon!, but Philippe and Cyril know how to host a show and it’s looking great for the opening tonight! 🤩🍷🖼️ If you are local please join us from 5pm today - Le Miroir Secret, 7 Grand Rue, Quarante

During my recent visit to Mogán I was delighted to meet up with members of USk Gran Canaria (thank you @misspatriland for the photos!) 😊 It was an extremely warm day, but I found a shady corner in a small but very busy plaza to do this quick sketch. I discovered later I was sat next to a shrine to Saint Rita of Cascia, patron saint of the impossible! Urban sketching for me is much more than lines and colours on paper - it's an ongoing journey of learning and connection, seeing things differently and finding inspiration from the ordinary. There are endless possibilities for growth and joy - I'm sure St Rita would agree 😉 #urbansketchers #annettemorrisart #sketchgrancanaria #saintritaofcascia @urbansketchers

A quick video I recorded just before we started sketching on Friday ! This was my first trip to Gran Canaria in many years and it brought back several memories of living in the Canary Islands many years ago 😎 We enjoyed a lovely few days filling pages in our sketchbooks, enjoying the weather, food and local culture. So much inspiration! I have plenty of sketches to finish and scan! This was the first time I have hosted a workshop in this location, but unlikely to be the last 😊 If you’d like to join me for a sketch workshop this year I will be teaching in France April - October - there are several dates in the diary including my springtime in Paris weekend in May 🌸❤️🇫🇷 please message me if you would like any more details or see the link in my bio ! #annettemorrisart #sketchingfrance #sketchingspain #sketchgrancanaria #sketchinparis

Watercolour sketching on location certainly has its challenges! I was so looking forward to sketching at Château de Sériège for #uskweek2024, but .... it started to rain ... a lot!! After an hour or so there was barely any colour left on my paper it had all been washed away... 😬 However all was not lost, the lovely local café was open so it was a fun sketch over coffee instead. My Château sketch may have almost disappeared but it was still a wonderful morning 😊 #usk #usklanguedocroussillon #uskfrance #urbansketchers #pleinairartist #seriege

International Urban Sketchers Week starts today! An annual event 1-7 May to celebrate drawing on location, being part of a community, seeing and experiencing the world from a unique and perhaps new perspective. For our local meet-up this morning we had a beautiful location, but also and unfortunately as it turned out, non-stop and VERY heavy rain!!! Even so, some of us still showed up and made memories in our sketchbooks (even if very quickly and from inside the car!) 🤣 #usk #uskweek2024 #urbansketchers #usklanguedocroussillon

"Purple Rain" - a favourite painting and sold to a very special home ❤️ The view is based on a main street not far from me in Narbonne, the joy was creating this with a minimal colour palette and lots (and lots) of water. I was recently contacted by a writer for ‘La Dépêche’ who was compiling an article listing art courses and workshops available across this region of France. A few phone calls later and we found ourselves chatting by the Canal du Midi not far from where I live. I explained a little more about the workshop programme but also my role as an Urban Sketchers volunteer. Thank you Conny for including me in this lovely article 😊 #annettemorrisart #artenoccitanie #urbansketchers #sketchlanguedoc #usklanguedocroussillon #travelsketcher #urbansketcher #travelsketchbook #dessinersurlevif #artetbienêtre #sketchingfrance #francesketch #sketchfrance #lafranglaise #ateliersdessin

I'm super excited to be participating in this event this weekend 🤩 It looks all set to be an action-packed weekend of sketching and socialising whilst discovering the intercultural city of Strasbourg. I'll also be giving a workshop for Urban Sketchers on Sunday morning! Not only that, but I will finally meet the other members of the @urbansketchers Executive Board in-real-life. We've shared hours and hours of time together in Zoom meetings so it will be wonderful to finally meet in person! 🤗 All the event details are on the webpage https://france.urbansketchers.org/2023/07/rencontre-avec-le-conseil.html Watch this space...!
