I would go anywhere in the world with Annette’s sketch group! Such a magical and unique experience getting to explore a city through the lens of sketching with people from all over the world. From logistics to art instruction, Annette does a wonderful job leading the workshop. I learned so many new things and I will undoubtedly sketch and see the world in a new way after this trip. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Unforgettable!

Annette is an excellent teacher, supportive and attentive to each student’s needs.

I’ve been meaning to say thank you; I don’t think I would have had the courage to make this painting (Keifer’s Dream) if we’d not done our splashing session together.

This was a great workshop by one of my favourite watercolour artists. The pace was fast (although I do appreciate the time restraints) and I was able to follow along for most of it and then complete any finishing touches afterwards. The PDF was a welcome addition as a step by step guide too.

Annette is a great teacher since she explains everything clearly and simply. She imparts a sense of fun and helps even beginners feel self-confident. I have done an online class, as well as an in-person class on location, with Annette. Both were excellent!

I attended a Paris weekend earlier this year with Annette Morris Art. It was fantastic, we really explored Paris and captured lots of memories in our sketching. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of attending Annette’s workshop at Montouliers in September. It was a great spot for a workshop and Annette was such a generous and inspiring teacher. I learnt lots of new things and quick tips and tricks from her to use in my sketches. I wish I lived closer so I could go to more of her classes!

Enjoyed a great 4 day sketching holiday with Annette in Quarante, France. Excellent tuition with useful exercises and tips. I think I became a little more colourful!! Annette is very organised, inspirational and enthusiastic. The bed and breakfast accommodation with Annika was « palatial » but so relaxed and comfortable that it was like staying with an old friend. Annette is an ideal teacher for both beginners, and experienced sketchers and water-colourists. She’s patient, encouraging and suggests new techniques to try. She helps you discover your own style which is so refreshing ! I learnt so much and had so much fun. I recently joined Annette’s sketching weekend in Carcassonne. I go sketching every now and then but I’ve always felt a little bit uneasy with watercolour, despite how much I like it. Annette met me where I was at and tailored her guidance and choice of subjects based on what I was keen to experiment with. I got to try many different ways of approaching a watercolour painting, some of which I wasn’t even aware of! Thanks to her excellent guidance, actionable tips, and infectious love for bold colours, I can’t wait to get out there sketching again (with watercolour, of course!). Sketching locations in Carcassonne are excellent, ranging from medieval structures to cute cafes and restaurants. Annette is a lovely human whose passion for sketching and for sharing her craft is truly inspiring. I look forward to joining another one of her workshops in the hopefully not-too-distant future!
