The port of Le Somail is an idyllic spot on the banks of the Canal du Midi. It’s a perfect and always popular sketch location. There are several cafés and good restaurants, plus an amazing bookshop that’s also well worth a visit.

Each workshop starts at 09.30 giving us a chance to work on our drawings in the cooler part of the day.  You will not need previous art experience to enjoy this event - just an interest in travel sketching with watercolour and learning more about the area!
