I went with very low expectations but a secret hope that I might actually be able to do this – Annette said everyone can draw – and she is right!! I did and I can!! Thank you Annette for giving me the confidence to just go for it . We were so lucky that we had a beautiful sunny day (and a fab lunch sitting outside ) Lagrasse is a fabulous location to sketch too.. Annette makes you feel totally at ease and it was lovely to go with 3 other fun lovely women too ! Looking forward to more classes please soon

I recently took part in a Sketching morning with Annette and 3 other ladies. I am a beginner which didn’t matter amongst the more experienced. I would go anywhere in the world with Annette’s sketch group! Such a magical and unique experience getting to explore a city through the lens of sketching with people from all over the world. From logistics to art instruction, Annette does a wonderful job leading the workshop. I learned so many new things and I will undoubtedly sketch and see the world in a new way after this trip. Annette is an ideal teacher for both beginners, and experienced sketchers and water-colourists. She’s patient, encouraging and suggests new techniques to try. She helps you discover your own style which is so refreshing ! I learnt so much and had so much fun. I enjoyed it very much. I am familiar with Annette’s teaching style and so I was able to sketch along, but I think that would be possible if not familiar. The follow-up video allows another attempt at the learner’s pace and also further practice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience on the sketching weekend in Paris with Annette Morris. Annette led a well thought out and interesting course. I had not sketched in a long time and was a relative beginner, but I grew and was challenged in a good way during this weekend. The group size was perfect and Annette helped create a cohesive group spirit and a supportive atmosphere. This sketching weekend was a marvelous way to see a city with fresh eyes! Meeting lovely people with the same interests in art was an added bonus.

You don’t have to be an artist or any good at drawing to have a fabulous time with Annette. First time sketching and the time flew past. And our sketches actually look like something!!! Great time and learned so much.

The instructor did an excellent job explaining her process and my initial drawing proportions were better than usual for me. I will try her techniques on other drawings.

Have just finished a workshop tour with the amazingly patient, creative and inspiring Annette Morris – couldn’t have asked ffor a better teacher. Annette was so encouraging & gave generously of her time, ideas & those ‘secret’ sketching spots that were so varied & inspiring. Fab holiday!

I had the pleasure of attending Annette’s workshop at Montouliers in September. It was a great spot for a workshop and Annette was such a generous and inspiring teacher. I learnt lots of new things and quick tips and tricks from her to use in my sketches. I wish I lived closer so I could go to more of her classes!
