Thank you very much for this great weekend. I’ve learned a lot and it was fun!

Still buzzing nearly a week after Springtime in Paris with Annette. Excelled all my expectations and if you want Paris to get into your soul, and not just be a tourist, this is the way to do it! It’s exciting, exhilarating and enlightening and I recommend a good pair of comfy shoes along with a good quality sketchbook. Annette is not just an accomplished artist, she is an encouraging teacher who also happens to be the best tour guide, bus planner, café connoisseur, reserver of restaurants and much much more! You will never look at Paris in the same way and as a bonus you will meet a special band of brothers. You’ll come home with an extraordinary sketchbook souvenir.

I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful morning. It was so enjoyable and therapeutic!

We spend 2 wonderful days urban sketching in Montpellier ( a week ago) with Annette and a small crew of like minded artists. I don’t know any one more passionate about what they do than Annette. She inspires and will give you confidence, with a good measure of guidance to start or build on your art journey.
On that note, Urban sketching is a way to introduce you to new places, discover new foods and make new friends. And unbeknown to you, you will inadvertently discover that you bring happiness to those around you. People will peer at your work and make comments (sometimes) , others will want to take a photo of you sketching .. and I think you become an inspiration to others who would like to do the same.
So do yourself a favour .. get off the merry go round and indulge in the pleasure of Urban sketching …

You don’t have to be an artist or any good at drawing to have a fabulous time with Annette. First time sketching and the time flew past. And our sketches actually look like something!!! Great time and learned so much.

I spent the weekend sketching with Annette and a lovely group of women. I’m an absolute beginner and Annette was so helpful, a great teacher and a very talented artist who has inspired me to sketch and water colour and its now my new favourite thing to do. ☺️

I’m a novice, and have been to some of Annette’s classes recently. She’s a kind and patient teacher. If you want to try sketching in a supportive space, I can recommend Annette’s sessions.

I attended a Paris weekend earlier this year with Annette Morris Art. It was fantastic, we really explored Paris and captured lots of memories in our sketching. Highly recommended!

Have spent the last 3 days painting with Annette Morris. What a great time and teacher. Learn so much each time I paint with her. With her guidance anyone can draw and paint.

I just thought I would write to tell you how much I enjoyed that wonderful few days with Ian in Montpellier. I need hardly tell you that I have been on many art courses and holidays, and I have no hesitation in saying that that was clearly one of the most enjoyable.  Let me pay particular tribute to the way in which you quietly and discreetly organised everything. I don’t remember any single thing going wrong. You may well be a born artist: you’re certainly a born manager.

I spent a wonderful day in Montpellier at one of Annette’s beginner workshops. I’m amazed at how much I learned in just a few hours. Annette is a great teacher and really made me feel comfortable – I have gone from thinking “I just can’t draw”, to “I CAN, and it’s fun!”. Annette gave so many useful little tips along the way, which made all the difference to my feeling capable and wanting to continue sketching. Added bonus: I now have a lovely souvenir of the beautiful Montpellier architecture!

I enjoyed my holiday near Beziers very much.
Annette is an excellent teacher, supportive and attentive to each student’s needs.
I produced better pictures than I had anticipated but my holiday was absolutely crucial for me in deciding the direction in which I wanted my art to go. I shall always be very grateful to Annette for that.

Today we drove 2hrs to Capestang for a lesson with Annette Morris. Sketching and watercolor is not my forte but life forces change.

So I sat on a camping chair in the old cobbled street in Capestang and sketched one of the oldest buildings in the area. Annette next to me guiding me, as I pushed through my block of sketching . And I loved every minute .

Annette is an ideal teacher for both beginners, and experienced sketchers and water-colourists. She’s patient, encouraging and suggests new techniques to try. She helps you discover your own style which is so refreshing ! I learnt so much and had so much fun. Thank you Annette for a brilliant sketching holiday and for sharing your love of Languedoc with us. I will be back next year all the way from Sydney Australia.
