DESCRIPTION:Fun workshops in the great Cass Art Studio space for anyone who would like to get started with urban sketching.  A day full of tips and tricks about drawing and painting on location and the materials you can use. \n  \nUrban Sketching for the Terrified!\n11.30am – 1.30pm\nIf you are new to sketching or lack confidence to draw in public\, this short fun workshop is for you!\nLearn how to get started and overcome your fear of ‘the blank page’\, and with minimal materials. \nYou will need a sketchbook (A5 or A4) with paper suitable for watercolour (160gsm+)\, a pencil (HB or 2B)\, eraser\, fineliner pen with waterproof ink and a basic travel watercolour set with brush or waterbrush. \nSketching Bristol Street Scenes\n2.30pm – 4.30pm\nEven if you are new to sketching\, in this workshop you’ll be amazed at what you can do to capture the impression of a busy street scene in your sketchbook. \nYou will need a sketchbook (A5 or A4) with paper suitable for watercolour (160gsm+)\, a pencil (HB or 2B)\, eraser and a basic travel watercolour set with round brush size 8 or similar. \nPlaces are limited so do book well in advance. You can book your ticket via Eventbrite or by completing the form below.
