Stunning S\u00e8te is located not far from Montpellier and B\u00e9ziers on the Mediterranean coast.\u00a0 In the centre of S\u00e8te is the Mont St Clair, which, at almost 200m above sea level offers panoramic views of the city below, also known as \u201cVenice of the Languedoc\u201d for its charming network of canals.\u00a0 S\u00e8te is a major port city in the southeast region of France and bordered by the \u00c9tang de Thau, a biodiverse saltwater lagoon. S\u00e8te\u2019s Mediterranean coast is lined with sandy beaches and the historic city centre has an abundance of winding streets, markets, shops and restaurants.<\/p>\n

Sketching in S\u00e8te offers travel sketchers a diverse range of subjects, from old fishing boats and canal bridges to market shoppers and historic architecture. Over the course of the weekend we will work with different line and watercolour techniques to capture the vibrant essence of this characterful city.<\/p>\n

These sketching workshops are suitable for people with some or no art experience and materials can be provided on loan if you do not have your own.<\/p>\n
