The harbourside, shipyards and iconic suspension bridge are just a few reminders of its history and importance during the industrial revolution of the 19th century. A vibrant and cultural city, there are sketch opportunities at every turn.<\/p>\n<p>During this 3 day workshop holiday we\u2019ll base ourselves in Clifton near the Observatory. From here we can study the impressive architecture of the Merchant Mariners and explore the city centre and harbourside. Suitable for all levels, in this fun 3 days you\u2019ll overcome your fear of the blank page and explore different page layouts and alternating techniques for different subjects. Working with pencil, ink and watercolour we\u2019ll go through the essentials of drawing in perspective, and how the use of colour and different tonal values can influence a sketch.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Sketching days 17, 18 &amp; 19 October<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Price for 3 days:<\/strong> \u00a3180<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sample itinerary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019ll meet in Clifton the evening of 16 October to discuss sketch kits and plans for the next few days<\/li>\n<li><strong>17 October:<\/strong> After a warm up sketch in the lovely streets of Clifton village we\u2019ll be heading to the Observatory for an alternative look at perspective drawing<\/li>\n<li><strong>18 October:<\/strong> Time to go Harbourside for some fun with colour.
