Indulge in a weekend sketching by the sea along the Vermillion Coast<\/a> in colourful Collioure not far from Spain!\u00a0 \u00a0This quaint and colourful town is a treasure trove for sketchers, and during this lovely weekend break we’ll be sketching around the old port and the chateau.\u00a0 Our sketchbooks will be filled with Catalonian colour as we study boats, water and the hustle bustle of the busy caf\u00e9s that surround the beach.<\/p>\n

For many decades Collioure has remained a very popular destination for artists – rich in history it offers a huge variety of subjects for painting and drawing and in fantastic light.<\/p>\n

This weekend is suitable for anyone new to urban sketching or artists with some experience but looking for a looser watercolour style.<\/p>\n
