Even if you are unable to join the Zoom the video from the workshop is recorded and will be available after the event to anyone pre-registered in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Each Zoom workshop lasts approximately 90 minutes-2 hours<\/p>\n<p><strong>February\/March programme<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tues 7 February &#8211; <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Urban Effects\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> &#8211; simplify a complex urban scene with watercolour, line and gouache to add focus and a touch of drama!<\/li>\n<li>Tues 21 February &#8211; <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Animal Instincts\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> &#8211; use colour values, watercolour and ink to sketch an expressive animal portrait<\/li>\n<li>Tues 7 March &#8211; <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Nostalgia\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> &#8211; mix negative painting techniques and a limited palette to capture the essence of days gone by<\/li>\n<li>Tues 21 March &#8211; <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Shadow Play\u00a0\u00bb <\/strong>&#8211; sketch people in motion by combining perspective, brushwork and people drawing skills<\/li>\n<li>Tues 4 April &#8211; <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Bluebell Wood\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> &#8211; reserve whites and lights to paint a luminous springtime scene in watercolour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Basic materials suggested:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Paper suitable for watercolour (300gsm or higher)<\/li>\n<li>Pencil<\/li>\n<li>Watercolour pencils<\/li>\n<li>Waterproof ink pens\/fineliners<\/li>\n<li>Watercolours<\/li>\n<li>White gouache<\/li>\n<li>Masking fluid<\/li>\n<li>Hairdryer (recommended)<\/li>\n<li>Jar of water, tissue\/paper towel, scrap paper, small water spray<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional items suggested<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Fountain or Dip Ink pen with sepia ink, Large flat wide (hake) brush (Urban Effects)<\/li>\n<li>Quin Gold, metallic gold, black &amp; grey watercolour paints (Nostalgia)<\/li>\n<li>Masking tape\/fluid (Bluebell Wood)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Further information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Limit of 10 participants for a small group setting<\/li>\n<li>Direct, live interaction with the artist<\/li>\n<li>Step by Step instruction<\/li>\n<li>Time to complete each step in real-time<\/li>\n<li>Recording available to watch on replay<\/li>\n<li>Appearing on camera or voice is not necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3-5 days after the live session, you will get a link to the recording.
