The busy mediterranean port town of S\u00e8te is also known as the Venice of Languedoc \u2013 with a network of canals winding through cobbled streets linked by bridges.<\/p>\n
This fun workshop is a great way to explore S\u00e8te and learn more about its history. You don\u2019t need previous art experience \u2013 just an interest in travel sketching and a willingness to learn. In the course of the day we\u2019ll look at page planning, how to simplify complex scenes and work with ink and watercolour on location.<\/p>\n
Workshop starts 10.00am with a quick warm up sketch over coffee. We\u2019ll pause for a light lunch before finishing our sketches in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
You will need a sketchbook with paper 160gsm or higher \u2013 which can be purchased on the day if you do not have your own.<\/p>\n
We will also use a black waterproof ink pen, HB pencil, basic watercolour kit, brush and water pot.<\/p>\n
