DESCRIPTION:The pretty village of Roquebrun is also known at ‘le petit Nice’ of Languedoc for its unique microclimate and Mediterranean garden overlooking the River Orb. \nIn this fun workshop you’ll learn some basic watercolour skills and all sorts of tips and tricks for simplifying what you see so you can sketch it with confidence! You do not need previous artistic experience to join\, just an interest in travel sketching and a willingness to ‘loosen up’ your painting style! \nWorkshop starts 9.30am with a quick warm up sketch over coffee. \nYou will need a sketchbook with paper 160gsm or higher – which can be purchased on the day if you do not have your own. \nWe will also use a black waterproof ink pen\, HB pencil\, basic watercolour kit\, brush and water pot.

DESCRIPTION:The small hilltop town of Montady is known for its incredible vista overlooking the incredible Etang de Montady below. \nIn this fun workshop you’ll learn some basic watercolour skills and all sorts of tips and tricks for simplifying what you see to capture a dramatic panoramic view in your sketchbook! You do not need previous artistic experience to join\, just an interest in travel sketching and a willingness to ‘loosen up’ your painting style! \nWorkshop starts 9.30am with a quick warm up sketch over coffee. \nYou will need a sketchbook with paper suitable for watercolour (220gsm or higher)\, pencil waterproof ink pen\, watercolour pencils\, basic watercolour kit\, brush\, water pot and a small folding stool.  Materials can be available on loan if you do not have your own.
