SUMMARY:Sketching for Beginners\, Le Somail
DESCRIPTION:Le Somail is one of the most iconic locations on the Canal du Midi and an idyllic place to learn to sketch. \nYou don’t need previous art experience to join this workshop – just an interest in travel sketching and a willingness to learn.  We’ll look at page planning\, textures and colours and how to work with ink and watercolour on location. \nWorkshop starts 10am with a quick warm up sketch over coffee. \nYou will need a sketchbook with paper 160gsm or higher – which can be purchased on the day if you do not have your own. \nWe will also use a black waterproof ink pen\, HB pencil\, basic watercolour kit\, brush and water pot.
