SUMMARY:Zoom Workshop - Paris Visite!
DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays are Zoom days and in advance of my Springtime in Paris weekend 29-31 May\, these 4 Zooms give you the chance to capture a flavour of the city of light from home ! \nThese online sessions are for a small group only and take place via Zoom where you can participate in ‘real time’\, ask questions and get feedback. Even if you are unable to join the Zoom the video from the workshop is recorded and will be available after the event to anyone pre-registered in advance. \nEach Zoom workshop lasts approximately 90 minutes-2 hours.  Before each workshop you will receive an email invite with a Zoom link. \nSpring programme (start time 2pm Paris time (CET) \n\nTuesday 21 April – Glorious Gardens\nTuesday 28 April – Moments in Montmartre\nTuesday 12 May – Parisian Pastries\nTuesday 19 May – Sensational Structures\n\nBasic materials suggested: \n\nSketchbook suitable for ink and watercolour\nPencils\nWatercolour pencils\nWatercolours\nWhite gouache\nHairdryer (recommended)\nJar of water\, tissue/paper towel\, scrap paper\, small water spray\n\nFurther information: \n\nLimited participants for a small group setting\nDirect\, live interaction with the artist\nStep by Step instruction\nTime to complete each step in real-time\nRecording available to watch on replay\nAppearing on camera or voice is not necessary\n3-5 days after the live session\, you will get a link to the recording. SUMMARY:Spring Sketching Weekend - Béziers
DESCRIPTION:A glorious sketching weekend in one of the oldest cities in France! Take in riverside & canalside views\, magnificent architecture\, café culture\, wonderful food and the cobbled streets of the historic laneways. \nSketch in the city and learn a range of ink and watercolour techniques. This weekend is suitable for people with some or no art experience and materials can be provided on loan if you do not have your own. \nHotels in the city centre: \n\nHotel Imperator\nHotel XIX\n\nTransport recommendations:\nFly to Béziers with Ryanair or Montpellier\, Toulouse or Perpignan with other airlines\nClosest rail station: Béziers – which is within walking distance of the city centre \nWhat to bring:\nSketchbook\, Portable sketching stool\, Basic watercolour travel set\, Watercolour brush\, HB/B/2B pencil\, eraser\, sharpener.  A detailed materials list will be sent with booking confirmation or by request. Simply email annette@sketchingfrance.com for full details.  If you need to use a sketch kit on loan\, this can also be arranged in advance. \nAdditional notes: \nThere will be some walking up and down hills and steps\, so please wear comfortable footwear and bring a waterproof in the event of inclement weather. \n\nPrice for 2 days sketch tuition 10am-4pm: 195€ per person\nThe tuition price excludes meals\, transport and accommodation. \nIf you would like more information before booking – please don’t hesitate to email me annette@sketchingfrance.com
