SUMMARY:Watercolour and sketching essentials: Fun with water and colour
DESCRIPTION:Join me for this 3 week course to learn more about watercolours and sketching techniques including drawing in perspective\, using ink pens\, how to mix colours and much much more. \nThese short workshops are ideal for beginners\, and if you have some painting experience they are also a great refresher! \nEvery Wednesday morning I’ll be sharing useful tips as we work on a different subject. You will need your own sketchbook but a sketch kit of other materials can be provided on loan if you do not have your own.  In between each workshop will also be a bonus lesson that you can do at home! \nSign up to one workshop or join all 3 – they’ll be friendly\, creative and social! \nClasses will take place in the Capestang/Olonzac area 10am – 12.30pm \n17 January – Taking a line for a walk : A closer look at basic outlines\, drawing with pencil or ink\, and how to develop your drawing style to create striking and confident sketches!\n24 January – Fun with water and colour: Time to explore mixing colours\, controlling watercolour\, where to use colour and much much more!\n31 January – People and perspective: Back to basics with the principles of drawing in perspective and how to include people in your urban sketches and bring them to life! \nIf you would like more details before booking please don’t hesitate to emailme@annettemorris.art ! \nSuggested materials\nYou will need paper or a sketchbook suitable for watercolour (200gsm or higher) \nIn addition I recommend a sketch kit which includes: \n\nPencil\nWatercolour pencils\nWaterproof ink pens/fineliner pens of different sizes (fine\, small\, medium\, brush)\nWatercolours & soft brush (small\, medium\, large)\nClean water\nTissue/paper towel\n\nIf you do not have any of these items sketch kits can be available on loan if required.
