DESCRIPTION:Treat yourself to a memorable day out and develop your sketching skills at the stunning Chateau les Carrasses. \nYou don’t need previous art experience to join this workshop – just an interest in travel sketching and a willingness to learn.  We’ll look at page planning\, how to get started with tricky compositions and the essentials of working with ink and watercolour on location. \nWorkshop starts 9.30am with a quick warm up sketch over coffee before exploring the Chateau grounds in more detail. \nYou will need a sketchbook with paper 160gsm or higher – which can be purchased on the day if you do not have your own. \nWe will also use a black waterproof ink pen\, HB pencil\, basic watercolour kit\, brush and water pot.\nA sketch kit can be provided on loan if you do not have your own.
